Javarisi Payasam(Sabudana Kheer)
Today is my hubby birthday.. I was thinking what shall i cook??? This is the general questions which goes in everyone's mind when a festival or some occasion comes.. Ok i thought lets make javarisi payasam(My hubby fav payasam ever)Ok lets go to main matter. How to cook Javarisi Payasam ?????????
Ingredients
Javarisi (sabudana) - 2 cupsWater - 2 cups
Milk (Whole Milk) - 2 cups
Sugar - 2 cups
Cardomom powder - 1 table spoon.
Cashews - 20 small pieces
Dry grapes - 20
MTR Badam mix - 3 Spoons
Ghee - 4 table spoons
Preparation
1. Soak your 2 cups of javarisi for 1 to 2 hours if it is little hard
2. Add 2 cups of water in a thick bottom vessel and allow it to boil till the bubble comes out
3. Pour the soaked javarisi into the vessel and allow it to cook in a medium flame.
4. Continuously stir the mixture so that it won't form any lumps.
5. Once the Javarisi is cooked add the milk and continue the stirring process
6. Add Sugar, Cardamom Powder and 3 table spoons of MTR Badam mix and allow the mixture to boil in a low flame till it gets reduced and when you see the javarisi comes up.
7. Take a another kadai and heat the ghee and roast the Cashews and dry grapes
8. Pour the roasted mixture in the Payasam Mixture...
The Payasam is ready to serve. :) :D.
